The post of Community Housing Strategy and Delivery Manager is a new post and we are looking for a highly motivated, committed and skilled team player to join our dynamic team.

Through effective strategic management you will lead a programme of work to deliver Torbay’s Housing strategy.

In order to deliver Torbay’s Housing Strategy you will be required to identify new opportunities for strategic partnership arrangements that will maximise delivery of high quality affordable housing in liaison with the Council’s planning department and the Head of Asset Management in Torbay Development Agency (TDA).

The role requires that you will also lead and develop partnerships with a range of local housing providers and community groups to enable the delivery of affordable housing including, accommodation with support.

You will ensure that Torbay Council’s Planning Department are aware of integrated health and social care plans to support people to remain independent in their own homes.

Responsibility for the day to day management of the Community Housing Fund, making sure business cases and projects are compliant with government statute and guidance will be an integral part of your role.
