Description
Linc-Cymru specialises in the affordable housing, social care and health sectors in Wales. We are a socially responsible business and all profits are reinvested for the benefit of our customers rather than being distributed to shareholders. Established in 1977, we are an Industrial and Provident Society registered with the Welsh Assembly Government. We have two primary strands to our business:

Linc Homes operates across South Wales and provides social and affordable homes for rent and to buy. Linc Homes' customers are mainly families since most of our 3,500 homes have 2 or more bedrooms. More recently we have diversified into intermediate and market rent schemes, to respond to the needs of people who are unable to buy due to the current economic environment or who want to rent but do not qualify for social housing.

Linc Care operates across Wales and provides homes and services to older and vulnerable people. Linc Care specialises in:
* Supported housing for vulnerable people
* Sheltered accommodation for older people
* Extra care housing which enables older people to live in their own homes and maintain their independence in a safe and secure environment with an on site 24/7/365 day care service specifically tailored to meet individual needs. We currently have schemes in Blaenau Gwent, Cardiff and Newport.
* Nursing Care - our first, purpose built, community nursing home in Newport opened in 2008 and others are in the corporate development programme.
