Lambeth is one of 14 local authorities which make up Inner London.
It is one of the most densely populated inner London boroughs, with a population of around 270,000.
Based on the 2001 census, 38 per cent of Lambeth's population are from ethnic minorities, the seventh highest figure for a London borough.
Our housing and planning services range from helping people to find homes, providing assistance to homeless families, advising landlords and tenants in the private sector to dealing with planning applications, enforcement, conservation and urban design.
Through Lambeth Living and United Residents Housing we manage 36,000 council homes including more than 10,000 leasehold properties. |
