Clanmil Housing has announced the construction of 166 new social homes on the 12 acre former Inbev Brewery site in West Belfast.
The total cost of providing the homes with be circa £25 million and Housing Association Grant of £17.7 million will be provided to Clanmil for the scheme by the Departmnet for Social Development through the Northern Ireland Hosuign Executive. The balance of around £7.5 million will be funded by Clanmil through private finance.
The homes form the major part of mixed use development including retail and office accommodation. When completed in September 2012 the scheme will provide 166 new high quality, affordable family homes in an area of high housing need. |
