Your Homes Newcastle - Listen online

Your Homes Newcastle (YHN) has created an audio version of its Homes + People newsletter for council tenants and leaseholders.

People who prefer to listen rather than read or who have visual impairments can visit YHN's website and listen an audio version of the newsletter from within the comfort of their own home. Tenants can also request a CD of Homes + People to be sent to their homes.

Paper copies of Homes + People, which contains a lively mix of information and advice for council tenants and leaseholders, will continue to be sent to all 30,000 council homes in the city.

YHN's Diversity Manager Simone Doyle said: "It's really important that YHN communicates with all sections of the community. I think having an audio version of our newsletter is a great idea and will prove popular - particularly with our older tenants."
