The Wrekin Housing Trust celebrates new Parkwood development with old friends
|
| Tuesday 17th March 2009 |
The Wrekin Housing Trust is searching for ex-residents of Walton Court for a tour of the brand new Parkwood scheme...
The Wrekin Housing Trust is inviting residents who used to live at the old Wilton Court Sheltered Housing Scheme, Woodside, to get in touch.
The Trust would like to give ex-residents of Wilton Court a tour of the new Parkwood Extra Care Scheme, and also invite them to the official opening of the scheme later this year. Parkwood will be the Trust's most significant development to date, and is a beacon of achievement in the Trust's 10th Anniversary Year.
Pamela Edwards, General Manager for Supported Housing said:" We are now in the final stage of the construction phase of Parkwood. The scheme is set to be a revolution in its design and functionality. Designed very much with the environment in mind, Parkwood features high efficiency boilers and facilities to recycle rainwater. In addition it will also boast a four storey high glazed atrium, a well-being/fitness suite, a hair and beauty salon and a library, to name but a few of the added extras.
She added: "Parkwood is the latest in a long line of developments we now have throughout Telford, Shropshire and Staffordshire. We will be proud to unveil Parkwood and although we have already been in contact with many Wilton Court ex-residents, we know there are probably more out there."
