Soha awards maintenance contract

Soha Housing has awarded a new single contract for maintenance services.
This means that one company only will provide day-to-day maintenance services - including work on empty properties and out-of-hours emergency repairs - to all of its 5,200 properties in South Oxfordshire and beyond.
Following a recent procurement exercise, the contract has been awarded to Jeakins Weir Ltd., one of Soha's existing contractors. The selection process involved a number of experienced tenants, including the Chair of the Tenants'
Forum, Carole Burchett.
Maureen Adams, Director of Customer Services and Operations commented, "This contract means a great deal to Soha, as we want to ensure that residents' repairs are fixed at first visit, that we continue to provide a courteous service and that we are even more flexible when offering appointments, keeping residents informed at all times".
Jeakins Weir will shortly be advertising apprenticeships as part of their commitment to operating in the local community. |
