Setting the standards for Doncaster
|
| Thursday 29th July 2010 |
St. Leger Homes, the company that manages 21,000 homes for Doncaster Council is inviting council tenants to have their say on a new set of housing standards set by a national body.
The Tenant Services Authority (TSA) has set a framework that all social housing providers need to follow. Areas covered include repairs and maintenance, tenant involvement and value for money. It also requires housing companies to say how they will tailor services locally to meet the needs of the community.
St. Leger Homes is running two drop-in sessions where tenants will have the opportunity to comment on these TSA standards and on further local services that they feel are needed.
The sessions will be held on Monday 2 August and Tuesday 3 August, 2pm to 7pm at the Tenants’ Resource Centre, St James’ Street, Balby Bridge
Tenants and other customers can also visit their local St. Leger Homes office from Monday 2 August, during normal opening hours to receive more information and to give their views or they can go to the website from Monday, www.stlegerhomes.co.uk.
For more information, call St. Leger Homes on 01302 862281. |
