Saving millions by working effectively

Making efficiency savings of over £10million through our group structure, and improving things that matter for residents.
Since PHA and Tor Homes joined Devon & Cornwall Housing group, together we have achieved savings that will add up to over £10million by 2014.

That’s the total that DCHT has calculated this month, based on the many efficiency savings that have been made including maintenance (more services for less money), loan finance and insurance. At least £6.5million of these savings are a direct result of our group structure.
Tony MacGregor, Group Director of Finance said: “residents, board members and staff members have worked together to achieve creative solutions that deliver value for money.
What’s really great is that we are using the money saved to improve things that matter for residents, including higher maintenance standards, adaptations for people with disabilities, and environmental improvements”. |
