Runcorn magic in music and dance

Talented tots, teens and those in between entertained the crowd at a Runcorn summer fun event at Murdishaw last week.
Social landlord Riverside funded the fun to the tune of £500, when families got together to enjoy local dancers, singers and a DJ who kept the music and games going throughout the day.
Lorna Hughes is community engagement officer at Riverside, she said: “We are keen to contribute to events such as this, as it’s a great way to get to meet people in our neighbourhoods and find out more about what they really want in their community. Often the people who we don’t see at our community meetings come along, so it gives us the chance to catch up with less familiar faces.”

Riverside worked with tenants and partners from Halton Borough Council and Murdishaw community centre to contribute to the summer event.
