Raven opens Douglas House on 15 Oct 09

Raven's newest development is formally opened on 15 October. Douglas House comprises 27 spacious 1-and 2-bedroom apartments for older people in Horley. Built by ROK for Raven, the state-of-the art building meets very high environmental standards, has excellent facilities and a communal garden designed by a RHS award winning designer.
Douglas House is a sheltered scheme for older people looking to libe independently with the added secutiry of the support of a sheltered housing officer and an emergency alarm system. Communal facilities include a lounge, library, activity room, and IT suite.
Douglas House has been built on the site fomerly occupied by Atkinson Court which comprised bedsits with shared facilities. |
