The launch of a promotional video featuring residents and staff members was just one of the highlights of Hanover's 28th Annual General Meeting, which took place in the Association's McDonald Rooms Conference Centre on Friday 28 September.
New Chief Executive Helen Murdoch, addressing her first AGM, presented the video which highlights the wide-ranging housing and related services that Hanover offers.
Helen also praised Equal Opportunities Manager Rohini Sharma Joshi, who recently secured lottery funding to the tune of nearly £220,000 in order to maximise uptake in services and benefits by black and minority ethnic people in Scotland.
The Association's new Annual Report and FInancial Statements were adopted, and representatives from Sunnyside Court Tenants' Association were presented with their certificate for becoming a Registered Tenants' Organisation.
The Committee of Management said farewell to John McClellan, Mel Wilson and Geoff Hadley who all retired, and welcomed Sarah Davidson and Bunty Fowler as new members.
The film will soon be available to watch on Hanover’s website, and you can see further pictures from the Annual General Meeting by logging on to www.hsha.org.uk |
