New office acquired for Mole Valley Housing Association
|
| Friday 18th January 2008 |
Regent House, next door to Dorking train station is a three-floor building. Mole Valley Housing Association will occupy the first two floors and sublet the top floor.
Mole Valley Housing Association was created in October by the transfer of 3,500 homes from Mole Valley District Council. The three month old housing association is planning to start the re-fit of Regent House around the end of March and it is anticipated that staff will move in by July 2008.
The office refit will see a new customer-friendly interactive reception area created, where tenants can access modern systems to pay rent or speak to housing staff face-to-face. A residents' resource centre will be provided with computers and information, and space for residents to meet - part of Mole Valley Housing Association's commitment to improving resident involvement. The association's in-house maintenance service will be based at Regent House, as well as representatives from its maintenance contractors.
David Searle, managing director of Mole Valley Housing Association comments; "I am delighted to announce our move to Regent House. The office is perfectly situated with excellent transport links and parking. It will provide good facilities for staff and residents alike and will help us deliver a high level of customer service. Leaving the Council's Pippbrook office will be the end of an era, but we are very excited about the prospect of setting up our own base in Dorking for all our staff and residents." |
