New Head of Direct Services appointed

Ron Barnwell has been appointed Head of Direct Services for Alliance Homes.

With a background of over 30 years in repairs, maintenance and construction in both the public and private sectors. Ron is the ideal choice to lead the new Alliance Homes Property Care division.

He has held various managerial positions including Head of Local Authority DLOs, Managing Director of a private repairs and maintenance company and most recently, was employed by a consultancy group, working with organisations in creating and managing direct labour organisations.

Ron says, "I am delighted to be working for a company that has such a bright future ahead of it. There is a lot of positive change happening at Alliance Homes, with a new name, the repairs and maintenance division being brought in-house and our photovoltaic panel project, so it is an exciting and challenging time to be involved."
