Following an intensive recruitment process the last of three new appointments have been made and they include the highest calibre people from both the public and private sector.
Joe Docherty has been appointed Executive Director, My Neighbourhood and among his responsibilities will be sales, development, regeneration, joint ventures/new business and asset management.
Joe was previously Chief Executive Tees Valley Regeneration where he oversaw the creation of what is at present the only broad based City Region economic delivery company in the UK covering the five local authorities of the Tees Valley. During his time in post over £1 billion of new development was secured for the region.
Rosemary Du Rose has been appointed Executive Director, Customer Services and among her responsibilities will be repairs and maintenance, neighbourhood management, house lettings and customer relationship management.
Rosemary has previously worked for a number of blue chip organisations including O2, T-Mobile, Legal and General and Carphone Warehouse. At O2 she helped take the organisation’s customer service ratings from 5th in the customer service index to 1st.
Richard Beattie has been appointed Executive Director, Corporate Services and among his responsibilities will be legal services, procurement and architectural services.
With a background in implementing procurement and supply chain solutions Richard joined Cadbury Schweppes in 2001 and since 2006 he has been responsible for developing key relationships to support the expanding manufacturing site in Poland, and from 2008 developing an arrangement with Johnson Controls for indirect outsourced services - a contract worth £30 million.
The appointments of Joe, Rosemary and Richard are the final pieces in the jigsaw of the new Home Executive, which was reviewed earlier this year as part of an organisation-wide restructure, known as Transformation.
This is leading to the creation of a new team that has been tasked, by the Home Board, with driving the organisational change and improving the performance of the organisation.
Previously announced appointments saw Alan Park becoming Executive Director, Finance; Peter Stott becoming Executive Director, People and Performance; Rachael Byrne becoming Executive Director, Care and Support; and Sheila Tolley becoming Executive Director, Transformation.
Mark Henderson, Home’s Chief Executive, said: “Home now has an Executive Team that can drive change, encourage innovation, deliver fantastic customer service and contribute to making Home the very best in its class.
“Added to the excellent skills and experience of the other Executive members, and with the help of a committed and very dedicated workforce across Home, we are now well on the road to achieving our aims of becoming truly customer focused and being seen as a leading light in our industry.” |
