New Chief Executive is announced at West Kent

Following the recent announcement that Barbara Thorndick is moving to head up WK Consulting, the Board have today announced her replacement.
Frank Czarnowski, currently Finance Director and Company Secretary at West Kent is to take over the reins at one of the country's most successful housing associations from August 2010.
Frank, who has been at West Kent since 2001, is a qualified accountant and currently responsible for the financial leadership and management of the association, as well as being an executive member of the Board and a significant contributor to the strategic direction, growth and subsequent success that West Kent has demonstrated in the past nine years.
His appointment comes at a time when the sector is facing a period of change and his experience and knowledge will serve to cement the already strong position of West Kent in the sector.
The first association to be awarded three stars, an Investor in People Gold holder and standard bearer for the Customer Service Excellence Award make West Kent one of the most highly regarded social housing providers. The decision to take the consultancy offering to a wider market has enabled the current management to take advantage of opportunities that were being presented in a coordinated and planned way.
