Severnside Housing, Shropshire's largest social landlord, has appointed a new Asset Management Director, responsible for managing the maintenance and improvements of Severnside's homes, as well new developments.
Ian Gardner was appointed Asset Management Director on 12 November, following a comprehensive recruitment and interview process. Prior to joining Severnside, Ian had worked as a consultant and Interim Manager in the sector for nearly ten years, and has over 22 years of housing experience, having worked with organisations such as Places for People, North Wales Housing Association, Coast and County Housing, Hull City Council and Wolverhampton City Council. Ian is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Housing, and has particular interest in Performance Improvement and Asset Management.
As a member of Severnside's experienced Executive Team, Ian will be responsible for the strategic management of all property maintenance, asset management, stock improvement, procurement, development, major works and all other property related services, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery.
