Muir Group's 'elite' customer service rewarded

Muir Group Housing Association has received an award for going above and beyond the call of duty to meet residents' needs.
The Association has been given the Compliance Plus for Customer Service Excellence certificate for demonstrating innovative methods of meeting and surpassing the expectations of residents.
In a letter congratulating them on the certificate, the award assessors Centre for Assessment Ltd said Muir Group are now 'amongst the elite and contribute to setting the standard other service providers can strive for'.
"Listening to what residents need and ensuring we do everything in our power to respond to those requirements is at the heart of what we do," said Chief Executive John Bellis.
"This award recognises the importance we place on providing the best service possible to make sure our residents are happy."
Muir Group Housing Association achieved the Customer Service Excellence Award, the national standard set by the government, last November.
The Association received the certificate for Compliance Plus, given to those who go over and above the standards required for the Customer Service Excellence Award, in September.
Its work in developing services for people for whom English is a second language is one of the ways Muir Group has gone the extra mile by funding course fees, books transport and childcare.
Agnieszka Esiatigiwa, a resident who lives in Blackpool, is one of those to benefit from Muir Group's help as they funded her two children to attend nursery while she studied English at college.
"I am so grateful for everything that has been done for us," said Agnieszka who is originally from Poland. |
