The Rose Hill Regeneration partnership held a consultation evening on Thursday 1 November at the school hall in Rose Hill. The aim of the evening was to focus on education and learning in Rose Hill with the aim of promoting learning opportunities for Residents, as well as feedback on inclusions for the new A-Z Community Booklet. A large number of agencies took part in the event and provided information for local residents & tenants. These included:

Rose Hill groups including:
Rose Hill and Littlemore Children's Centre, Rose Hill Methodist Church, Rose Hill News, Rose Hill Primary school,Rose Hill Regeneration Partnership
Educational & youth groups:
Scouts, St Gregory the Great Secondary School, Connexions, Learning Communities, Oxford and Cherwell Valley College, Oxfordshire PCT (inc. Health trainers and Healthy Living Partnership, Proposed Oxford Academy
As well as Oxford City Council and Taylor Wimpy who are working in partnership OCHA on the redevelopment, just over 70 people attended the event with Sue Mortimer, Head of Rose Hill School, welcoming everyone to the school.
Judith Hitchings from Learning Communities spoke about the range of courses they offered. And Charles Shaw Head of Development for OCHA was able to announce that Planning Permission had been given for the Rose Hill redevelopment to go ahead.
The evening was a great success with another event in the pipeline. |
