Margaret Blackwood HA appoints Steve White as interim chief executive

Steve White has been appointed as interim chief executive by Margaret Blackwood Housing Association.

An expert in cultural change programmes, Steve will be with MBHA for a year. His key priorities will be the restructuring of the Association's care and support services, the planned maintenance programme and organisation-wide improvement plan, to see more sophisticated long-term financial planning processes put in place, and to champion improved efficiency and effectiveness using cutting-edge ICT technologies.

He will advise the Board of Management on the core competencies, skills and experience required of the permanent chief executive, who is likely to be recruited in the first half of 2011.
