Housing Association Receives Best Companies ‘Ones to Watch’ Accreditation
|
| Thursday 19th January 2012 |
Gallions Housing Association was awarded a Best Companies 'Ones to Watch' Accreditation recently; having narrowly missed out on 'The Sunday Times 100 best places to work in the not for profit sector' list.
Best Companies Accreditation recognises workplace engagement as an important part of an organisation's success and growth. Every organisation that goes for Best Companies Accreditation is given a score (from 1-1,000) based on employees' responses to questions in the Best Companies survey. So it's not about an assessor's opinion but the views of staff, which makes it even more relevant and worthwhile.
Commenting on the award, Gallions' Human Resources Manager, Catherine Horbatchewskyj, said:
"This is fantastic news. I am really pleased with the result given that it was our first attempt at Best Companies Accreditation: it shows that we're heading in the right direction. We're using the feedback received from staff to help guide our future plans for employee engagement and business success so the process was also extremely useful in its own right".
Gallions will be aiming to get onto the Sunday Times list next year, and with the knowledge gained from this process, should get top grades! |
