Homebuy apartments in Truro
Thursday 29th November 2007
Meeting the needs of local people who want to buy affordable homes.

Councillor Fred Greenslade, Leader of Carrick District opened the second phase of City Hospital Truro, comprising properties for outright sale and for Homebuy.

Phase one of the development included affordable homes for rent and more will be provided later in the build process. The Homebuy homes have all been sold to people on the council’s waiting list with prices for a two-bedroom apartment starting from £164,000.

Martyn Johnson, chair of our Cornwall West Regional Committee says: “we are delighted with these homes. These Homebuy apartments help to meet the needs of local people who want to buy but have difficulty in such a high priced area. All parties have put a tremendous amount of work into ensuring this scheme went ahead and we are seeing the results of all those labours.”
