Graham appointed to key role at Eastbourne Homes

Eastbourne Homes is celebrating this week following a top appointment to their sExecutive Team. Graham Mitchell becomes the new Director of Finance and Corporate Services. Graham is highly respected in the sector and brings a wealth of experience to the position.

As recently reported, Eastbourne Homes achieved a two star rating from the Audit Commission and £45.2 million of funding for improvement works to homes in the town.

Graham said: "I am delighted to have been appointed to this role. I am proud of being member of the team which achieved the two star rating that released the funding for the decent homes work to be carried out. Having the two stars is just the start. There is a lot of work still to do, not least of which is ensuring we carry out the Decent Homes work successfully."

Graham is now busy working on a five year business plan for Eastbourne Homes, a key feature of which is to increase the role of tenants and leaseholders in shaping services.

Graham added: "Our residents contributed hugely to our success in achieving our two star rating and we want to build on this. Their support and constructive input is invaluable."
