First Housing Hartlepool Shining Star Awards Launched
|
| Monday 19th October 2009 |
Is there a person or group that have helped you to enjoy life more, or made a difference to the lives of people you know?
For the first time Housing Hartlepool is holding an awards ceremony to recognise those people in our communities that go the extra mile to make life on our estates a better place with a Shining Star Award.
These are your awards and we want you to tell us who you would like to see recognised for the work they do in your community. All you have to do is complete a nomination form and tell us in your own words why you think the person or group you are nominating deserves the awards. The only condition is that the activities bring benefits to the residents of the estates were Housing Hartlepool is the biggest landlord.
Nominations will be open until 30th November 2009, with an independent panel of judges deciding the overall winners.
Every category winner will be invited along to an event to receive their award and celebrate their success.

(Open to all Housing Hartlepool Tenants)
Having good neighbours can make a huge difference to your life.
Is there someone who has made a difference to you or other people in your community by giving their time and effort to help others?
It could be that you know someone who gives up their time to do household chores for their friends or neighbours?
Maybe you know someone who regularly visits members of the community who live alone?
Or it could be someone who has given up his or her time to do something that is of benefit to the local community as a whole.
This is your chance to show them that their work hasn't gone unnoticed.
