Eastbourne Homes takes the lead
|
| Tuesday 17th February 2009 |
The Tenant Services Authority (TSA) have recently launched a 'National Conversation' with residents all over the country to find out what YOU want from your landlord. What do we do well? What do we not do so well on? How can we improve our service to make it better for you, the customer?
On December 2008, Eastbourne Homes Limited was chosen as a trailblazer for the South East Region to hold a TSA event for residents and other organisations. The event took place on 22nd January 2009 at the International Lawn Tennis Centre, with attendance from 20 residents and members of staff from Lewes District Council, Adur District Council, Rother Homes, Raglan Housing, Southdown Housing and Wealden District Council. The programme for the day included a presentation and group work followed on by a buffet lunch with the opportunity to talk to other members.
The day proved to be very positive and useful, with residents and other organisations stating how helpful it was and how it made them look at their landlord in depth. The feedback from the day has been passed to the TSA and will also be incorporated into Eastbourne Homes' Annual Plan in order to make our organisation the best it can be. The other organisations who attended the day will now go and hold their own events and spread the word of the TSA. Once the TSA has received all feedback from all events over the country, it will incorporated into a consultation exercise and will be used to shape Service Standards for all Housing Associations, Councils and ALMOs throughout the country.
Further TSA sessions will be held in conjunction with the Area Panels, and if you would any further information then please contact Resident Involvement on 01323 415976. |
