A NEW website is helping to promote one of the biggest annual events in Boston.
www.bostonshowcase.co.uk is focused around the Boston Community Showcase – and was created with the help of the town’s TaylorITEX.
Currently a work in progress, it will feature full news items about the event, galleries of pictures from Showcase’s history, and links to various community groups.
The Showcase takes place this year in the Boston’s Central Park on Sunday, September 12.
The event will run from 10am to 4pm - with entry and many attractions free.
Dance sessions, live bands, food and lots more will be on offer during the day.
Visitors can also expect a wealth of information supplied by various organisations in and around Boston, and issues around hate crime will be highlighted.
One of the organisers of the event, Boston Mayflower’s Nathan Black, said: “We have some excellent bands lined up for this year’s event, including the Jason North Blues Band, as well as several dramatic theatrical performances around the issues of hate crime.
“Our new website is looking great, although there is still some work to do. It is up and running though, and available for people to have a look at.
“It was made possible as a result of the help Showcase has received from TaylorITEX – so a big thanks to them.
“The Boston Community Showcase continues to grow in both reputation and scale, and, as ever, everyone is welcome at this year’s event.”
