Customer Service Excellence

Pickering and Ferens Homes is pleased to announce that in August 2008 the association achieved the government's new Customer Service Excellence Standard - which has been certified by the Centre for Assessment. The Customer Service Excellence Standard replaces Charter Mark and officially recognises organisations which attempt to achieve the highest standards of customer service. The assessment was undertaken during June and July 2008 and the assessment report was forwarded to the association in August 2008. The report refers in particular to a clear and strong customer focus, a high degree of "buy in" to the ethos of customer focus, effective teamwork, an open culture and consistently good feedback from residents. Areas for future improvement were also included in the report.
