Charity cake shop for Multiple Sclerosis Society raises over £100

The staff at Homes In Sedgemoor have used CAKES to raise over £100.

Today (Friday 25 April) is the MS Cake Break event in aid of Multiple Sclerosis and so a team of keen bakers and novice cooks got out their recipe books to create a range of delicious cakes for sale to staff.

The cakes will range from brownies to gateau, chocolate to carrot.

Staff provided all the cakes and Jual, a local provider of workwear, provided the aprons free.

By the afternoon there were only be crumbs left and a lot of very happy staff.

Dawn Lang, Director of Resources says: “We all love cake at Homes in Sedgemoor and will find any chance we can to make it and raise money. All of our staff did an excellent job in baking and eating the cakes in aid of the MS Cake Break.”
