Business Development Officer appointed at leading Midlands Housing Association

Adullam Homes Housing Association Limited, based in West Bromwich, has appointed Jo Walters, an experienced member of its administrative management team, as its new Development Officer, responsible for marketing and strategic business development.
Jo joined Adullam Homes Housing Association in 2003 eventually becoming Assistant Finance Manager.
Jo said: "I can honestly say that since joining Adullam I have never looked back, my aim in both personal and professional life is to achieve as much as possible and do the best job I can. Adullam's management style allows individuals to flourish. We take responsibility for our actions, but are supported in everything we do.
I wanted to get more involved in management at the strategic level so the Business Development Officer's role, whilst quite different from my role in finance, was extremely appealing."
In a nutshell my new responsibilities cover tenders, property development programmes, marketing, PR and an overall involvement in the development of Adullam Homes Housing Association Limited.
At the end of the day we all have something that drives us forward, mine is the challenges ahead, making a difference and wanting to learn about anything and everything."
At Adullam, Jo has gained her Association of Accounting Technicians Diploma and is studying towards her Chartered Institute of Management Accountants Qualification.
Jo previously spent time developing her financial and general administrative experience with spells at Tetra Systems, later part of Severn Trent Water, and at Bowater Windows, broadening her skills liaising with European business partners and through involvement in the firms TQM 5s Programme. |
