We are an Arms Length Management Organisation (ALMO) responsible for managing council homes on behalf of Newcastle City Council.
We were set up in 2004 to manage council properties, to improve housing in order to meet the Government’s Decent Homes standard, and to provide a range of support services for Newcastle City Council.
Currently we manage around 29,000 tenanted and 1,500 leasehold homes.
In June 2008 we were awarded a three star excellent rating by the Audit Commission, making us the first ALMO in the North East to receive three stars.
We are a member of the National Federation of ALMOs, the representative trade body for Arms Length Management Organisations. |
