Twin Valley Homes is a registered social landlord committed to providing rented homes to be proud of in the towns of Blackburn and Darwen in Lancashire.
Twin Valley Homes was developed as a result of a ballot of former council tenants,who voted overwhelmingly with an 85% YES vote to transfer 9624 homes from the Council to the new not for profit company.
The transfer took place on 28th March 2001.
Twin Valley Homes has a 30 year business plan which has been approved by the Housing Corporation.The aim is to provide much improved housing through the borrowing facilities of up to £77 million provided by a syndicate group of funders led by the Royal Bank of Scotland and including,Abbey National,Halifax and Nationwide building societies.
Twin Valley Homes manages 8000 homes and operates on a not-for-profit basis.The aim is to provide much improved housing through the borrowing facilities of up to £110 million provided by the Royal Bank of Scotland. |
