Tuntum was set up in 1988, with the aim of providing affordable, good-quality homes for people in the greatest housing need.
Tuntum Housing Asscociation is a non-profit making social business formed to provide housing and support services for people on low incomes. Tuntum is one of Nottingham's fastest growing and innovative housing associations with over 1,000 homes in management and development.
We principle provide homes for rent at levels affordable to those on very low incomes. Recently, we have also provided homes for rent at higher levels aimed at people who would like to buy their homes in the near future. This is sometimes known as ‘rent to buy’. In addition, we have available a number of homes for sale on a shared-ownership basis.
Tuntum is well known for the diversity of our provision of supported housing. This range of provision includes: sheltered housing for older people; foyer style hostels for young people; schemes for teenage mothers; specialist housing for women fleeing domestic violence; and floating support services to young parents and refugees.
We are governed by a board comprising 12 individuals, including tenants who have or are developing the appropriate skills and experience. |
