Three Valleys Housing is one of the largest housing associations in Derbyshire. The association was formed in 2002 following the transfer of the housing stock from Erewash Borough Council. It now manages 5,549 houses, flats, bungalows and bedsits across the Erewash area.
As part of our ongoing commitment to improve tenant’s homes, we will spend:
*Over £14 million in catch up repairs to bring the fabric of the homes up to an acceptable condition in the first five years after transfer.
*Over £21 million in improvements - heating, windows, doors, kitchens in the first five years following transfer.
*Over £10 million for the regeneration of the Hopewell Farm Estate.
In addition, there will also be full provision for responsive (day to day) repairs and cyclical (painting, servicing etc) repairs over a 30 year period as well as for future programmed works (major repairs) to ensure that homes are kept to the standard achieved. The focus will continue to be delivery at a cost in accordance with the business plan. |
