Founded as long ago as 931 we are the largest independent provider of care for older people in Winchester with 81 units of sheltered almshouse accommodation, two day centers, and two nursing homes, Devenish House and Moorside.
The Charity is a Christian foundation whose mission is to maintain the hope, comfort, tranquility and dignity of all our residents; and to preserve and foster independence whilst understanding and supporting residents in the face of increasing frailty.
St John's mission is to make the best use of the charity’s endowed wealth, personal commitment, compassion and integrity of Trustees and staff alike for the physical and spiritual support of older people and the disadvantaged of Bath. |
