Southdown's aim is reflected in the mission statement: "Building choice and independence through housing and specialist support".
Our vision is to be the leading provider of well managed and innovative supported housing and associated services in Sussex.
The organisation was established in 1972 and has grown significantly over the past 35 years. We now have over 450 staff and manage property and other services for over 1,500 people with disabilities.
Our main headquarters are in Lewes and we have regional offices in Brighton, Worthing and Horsham. We are a Registered Social Landlord and an Industrial and Provident Society regulated by the Housing Corporation. We have a board of committee members, who oversee the management of the association.
