 General Information / Background
We are a non-profit making social landlord, registered as an Industrial and Provident Society, and controlled by shareholders who have no personal financial interest in what we do. The shareholders participate in the election of the Board of Management, which has a central role in directing the Association's work, to determine strategic direction and policies.

We are a community-based housing association primarily serving South Staffordshire, Shropshire and the Midlands. Our main aim, through striving for excellence, is to provide quality homes and services that people want and can afford, in communities where people want to live. Over 5,000 homes are currently managed and maintained by the association. We are investing £5 million each year on a programme of works to enhance tenants’ homes.

Successful partnership working is one of the association’s key strengths. Tenants are represented on our Board of Management and Tenant Partnership. We work with regional and national partners to develop a range of innovative IT solutions to improve services to residents. And the business is expanding, with plans to increase the our affordable housing portfolio through further partnership working.
