|
South Devon Rural Housing Association is a small community based organisation, providing housing and other related services to communities mainly within the South Hams. They rely on local people within their area of operation to become shareholders and to become Board Members on a voluntary basis.
Dartington Housing Association was formed in 1958 and is a social landlord providing housing to people in housing need throughout the South Hams area of Devon. In 2009 the Association changed name to become South Devon Rural Housing Association. The Association works across a wide area of South Devon.
The Association aims to provide a range of rented accommodation and deliver services which help people to remain in their own communities.
They have a variety of homes, including those for general needs, elderly, and for older people with support needs. They also own and run a Residential Care Home for the elderly: Forder Lane House. Day Care Services are also provided at Forder Lane House. |
