Soha Housing is a non-profit making company that was set up in 1997 to buy the housing stock from South Oxfordshire District Council. Any money we make is invested back into our association for the benefit of our tenants. Tenants of the Council gave their support for the transfer by voting in favour of it in a ballot.
Soha Housing provides affordable homes for people who prefer to rent, or cannot afford to own or rent a home in the private sector. Any money we make is invested back into our association for the benefit of our tenants. We manage around 5,000 homes and have a turnover of approximately £20 million.
This makes us one of the largest registered social landlords in Oxfordshire. Most of our housing is designed for families, but there is also supported housing for elderly people. Most of our homes are located in the four main towns of Didcot, Henley-on-Thames, Thame and Wallingford. |
