Shropshire Rural Housing Association is a charitable organisation, which specialises in providing appropriate and affordable housing for rent for people in need in the rural areas of Shropshire.
Founded in 1975 (originally as the NAC Housing Association) the Association completed its first housing scheme at Hadnall in 1982 building 10 bungalows principally for retired agricultural workers. Since then the Association has grown steadily and now owns over 250 properties throughout the county and provides appropriate accommodation for families, couples, single people and the elderly.
At its base in Shrewsbury, SRHA currently employs 6 full and part-time staff and is governed by a Board made up entirely of unpaid volunteers. |
