From the humble beginnings,and subsequent donations,plus shrewd investments by successive Trustees, The Sambourne Trust has grown to it's present form. Holding 10 properties,that generate rental income,the assets of the Trust are providing the means to support the objectives the original trustees perceived.
Distribution of funds encompasses aid to the disabled, assistance to school children for the purchase of books and equipment. Money tokens to the pensioners for the purchase of goods from Tesco stores. Assistance is given to those who need to have repairs done to their homes. Transport to local towns for shopping trips, hospital visits.Donations to local worthy causes are frequently made.
