Description
The Riverside Group was born in 1928 as Liverpool Improved Houses. Over the last eight decades it has evolved and grown, developing new products and services in response to the needs of the customers.

The evolutionary process continues apace and in 2001 The Riverside Group, a non-charitable umbrella for a number of housing associations and associated companies, was established.

In creating The Riverside Group, developed a structure that enables to respond to the challenges and opportunities of a rapidly changing housing and regeneration market in the 21st century. The subsidiaries provide more than 50,000 homes across England and enjoy the flexibility and local accountability they need to deliver quality homes and thriving communities.

With an eye to the future, new companies can also be added to The Group - this could be as a result of strategic mergers or through the transfer of homes from local authorities. The scale and number of opportunities is immense and the strength, stability, drive and determination will ensure that The Riverside Group is able to take full advantage and deliver the best solutions for all of the customers.
