"Our vision is for people with a disability to have every opportunity to live independently and to be able to access the world of work within their community"
The Papworth Trust was created in 1963, and incorporates the Papworth Village Settlement. Today the Trust is one of the UK's leading disability charities promoting choice and independence for people with physical disabilities, sensory impairment and learning difficulties. We now operate across the Eastern region, and help over 4,500 disabled clients each year through a range of services, which include housing, employment, care, advice and progression. These services help to equip disabled people with the skills, confidence and opportunities they need to choose how they live their lives, and, having developed significantly from our roots, our focus is on the inclusion and integration of disabled people within the wider community. |
