Oxbode Housing Association is a non-profit organisation, which was set up in 1992 to develop new housing for rent in the City of Gloucester. We are committed to involving our tenants and local communities in deciding how homes should be built and managed.
A voluntary Board of Management, who are elected by the members of the Association, sets the policies. Seven places on the Management Committee are reserved for tenants. Anyone with an interest in Oxbode, and this of course includes you as a tenant, can apply to be become a member. Members pay £1.00 for a share in Oxbode to entitle them to vote at Oxbodes Annual General Meeting and any special general meetings. No dividends are paid to shareholding members as any profit the association makes is reinvested in repairing existing homes and building more homes. |
