Ocean Housing is the largest landlord in Restormel with over 3,300 homes mainly for families but with 700 sheltered homes for older people. Most of our homes are in the district’s main centres of population – St Austell, Newquay, St Blazey, Par and the china clay villages of St Dennis, Penwithick and Bugle.
With a top ranked inspection by the Housing Corporation, high levels of customer satisfaction independently assessed by the National Housing Federation and the Investor In People accreditation, we are proud of our reputation for performance-driven quality services, innovative solutions and technical expertise.
Ultimate responsibility for the running of Ocean Housing, its direction and policies rests with a Board of 15 trustees. Five are independent with no affiliation to any organisation or political group, but who have relevant personal skills relating to the management or work of Ocean Housing. Five are nominated by Restormel Borough Council and are elected councillors. The remaining five are tenants who have personal experience of living in an Ocean Home. |
