Muir Group is a registered social landlord and an exempt charity with around 4,500 properties including :
* Houses and flats to rent at affordable prices.
* Shared ownership (called Homebuy).
* Sheltered housing for older people and specialist supported housing for people with specific needs.
As well as providing housing on a not-for-profit basis, we work extensively in the community actively seeking ways to improve the areas where people live.
Our mission is to provide quality, affordable housing for those in housing need.
We pride ourselves on excellent service to all our customers, be they residents, local authority and other partners, staff, developers or contractors. We work closely with all these groups to deliver housing solutions that create communities in which people want to live.
Muir Group Housing Association, known as Muir Group, was founded in 1968 and was formally registered as a housing association with the Housing Corporation in 1976.
Our head office is in Chester with five area offices at Blackpool, Burnley, Helsby ( Cheshire ), Winsford (Cheshire) and Huntingdon plus staff located in Hereford and Northallerton (North Yorkshire). |
