Milecastle Housing Limited (formerly Tynedale Housing Ltd) was formed in December 1999 when the housing stock was transferred from Tynedale Council. We are a not for profit housing association providing affordable social housing in the Tynedale area of Northumberland in the North East of England.
Milecastle Housing Limited has a stock of over 3100 homes in the area supported by offices in Hexham, Haltwhistle and Prudhoe.
Milecastle Housing Limited has continued to invest in our housing stock and in services to residents through our ongoing development and modernisation programme and our commitment to Resident Involvement.
Milecastle Housing Limited is committed to involving residents in the development, delivery and monitoring of its services and will give residents as much help and support as they need to do this.
The Board of Milecastle Housing Limited is made up of twelve people - two are councillors nominated by the Council, five are independent members who have an interest in our business and relevant expertise to offer and the other five are residents who offer their expertise as consumers of service provided by Milecastle Housing Limited. This gives residents an equal say in the decisions made by the Board and an important contribution to make. |
