Maynard Co-operative Housing Association (MCHA) provides good quality affordable homes for rent by local people.
We work in an ethnically diverse community, and rent homes to people from a wide variety of cultures. We've a strong commitment to diversity and promoting equality of opportunity.
As a housing co-op, we're run entirely by and for our tenant members.
Tenants own and manage their housing collectively - so they are effectively their own landlord.
This gives them a high level of control over their homes and their neighbourhood. Perhaps because of this, most tenants tend to stay with MCHA, so our homes are in high demand.
Open to all, we're a voluntary and independent organisation, and we re-invest our profits in improving our homes and services.
In all, there are around 600 housing co-operatives in England. |
