Lynsted Housing Co-operative is a small estate which was built by CDS Co-operatives in 1996 becoming fully independent and signing a management agreement with CDS in 2002. The committee are involved in lettings at the Co-operative. Lynsted Housing Co-operative is a small estate of 17 properties on the edge of Teynham village and is surrounded by open countryside. There are 6 one bed flats and 11 two bed houses, and they form a small estate in which the remaining 20 or so properties are owned and managed by Swale Housing.
