Lyng Community Association (Lyng CA) is one of the main partners in the regeneration of the Lyng.
We formed in 2000 to ensure the continuing involvement of the local community in the future of the Lyng estate. By bringing the neighbourhood together we are helping to ensure that sustainability and community are at the heart of the area’s regeneration. Our goal is to develop a mixed tenure estate to complete the redevelopment of the Lyng, creating a thriving neighbourhood.
Lyng CA is a Registered Social Landlord (RSL) and forms a partnership between the local community and Sandwell MBC that will provide a total of 200 homes for rent on the site. Half of our Board of Directors are local tenants and residents. |
