Description
The London & Quadrant GROUP is one of 2,000 housing associations that work in the UK. The main purpose is to provide high quality, affordable homes.

L&Q residents are varied. Most families are on low incomes and usually come to us from the local council lists of those who need housing.

We manage over 66,000 homes and although most are in Greater London, we also work all over South East England.

Other things do include:
* Running sheltered and supported homes (L&Q Supported Living);
* Building new homes and refurbishing old ones;
* Providing accommodation for key workers, like nurses and hospital staff;
* Helping people on lower incomes buy homes through shared ownership;
* Helping with community projects through Quadrant Community Investment, specialist community development section.

All the work is about creating places where people want to live. The Group also believe in getting best value so that the residents get the best level of service possible. Encouraging equal opportunities is central to everything done.
